Formed in 2003, Junkie Brush are Oxford's premier hardcore punkers. Unlike local heroes Headcount, Junkie Brush have always taken a more aggressive and direct approach.

Taking their influences from as far and wide as the Sex Pistols, MIRV, Therapy?, the Dead Kennedys and Killing Joke, Junkie Brush combine an American hardcore aesthetic with a distinctly British attitude towards punk, rhetoric and sloganeering.
