This compilation was funded by a 5-way split between the bands involved. Each band got 20 CD copies and sold them for no more than £5. Artwork was produced by Justin Windle of Verbal Kink from his own original art and contributions from each band. Gigs were organised to help promote the CD, also organised and promoted with the participation of all the bands.
The album is, to our knowledge, sold out and it's unlikely the other bands still have copies. Some of the bands involved have kindly allowed us to make their tracks available to download.

Nightshift Magazine - As with most of these compilations ‘Fresh Faces…’ succeeds in its face value purpose of giving local music fans a budget opportunity to hear new stuff they might not otherwise have gone out of their way to see, while the bands involved get exposure to fans of similarly minded acts.
David Murphy - Fresh Faces collects music solely from the forgotten realm of heavy rock, nestling somewhere between the extremes of metal's sonic assault and the abstract art-noise rock kingdom. The fact that all the acts are represented by at least two tracks adds to the impression that this album is a considered statement, not a ragabag snatch of pals.
